INSTRUCTIONAL
STAFF
Faculty instructors, graduate teaching assistants,
and undergraduate teaching assistants (upper-division Computer
Science majors) provide instruction and mentoring for the participants.
Mr. Arup Guha, (Instructor) obtained his
BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from MIT and an MS in Computer
Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a Lecturer
with the Department of Computer Science at UCF, where he teaches
undergraduate level courses in Computer Science and an adjunct at WPHS where he teaches in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. His innovative teaching techniques,
his talent and enthusiasm are widely known.
Graduate and Undergraduate Teaching Assistants
are carefully selected from the best students in Computer Science
and they undergo a special training for BHCSI. They are actively
involved in designing assignments and projects that are relevant
and exciting for high school students, and they assist the students
with homework, project design and development, and one-on-one
instruction. They also act as mentors and role models, sharing
their experience as students and future professional computer
scientists. |
